Resilient Pathways
Philosophy
Person Centered
My priority is first to develop a space safe enough for sharing and exploration. Through practicing empathy, reflective listening, and providing a space free from judgement the roots for therapeutic rapport can begin to take place.

Strengths and Resilience Based
People are often told throughout their lives what is "wrong" with them, which can create an internal dialogue of criticism and shame. I believe that an important piece of the therapy puzzle is to explore and identify what is "right" with you, where your strengths lie, and recognizing resilience.
Skill Building
We live in our bodies, but how often are we aware of what our bodies are trying to communicate to us? A component of exploration in sessions with me is identifying what your nervous system is communicating, and how you might want to regulate throughout the distress of life.
I utilize several types of therapeutic interventions while in sessions, as there is no one-size-fits-all in therapy! Some of these include:
-Motivational interviewing
-Existential
-Humanistic
-Attachment based
-Somatic experiencing
-Culturally sensitive
-Solution focused brief
-Trauma resiliency model
-Cognitive processing
-Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)
-Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
